Last Sacrifice - Richelle Mead Review

Today Last Sacrifice by Richelle Mead was released, it is the final of the current Vampire Academy Series.

The story continues from when Rose has been sent to jail to await a trial for the Queen Tatiana's murder. Having been framed for murder she must find a way from behind bars to prove that she did not commit the crime, though her silver stake was found with her fingerprints on it.
The other thing that she must investigate is the half brother or sister of Lissa, the one person who could make Lissa's vote count. However, someone is trying to make any records of the person disappear, as there was a theft of records from the Alchemists.
The story begins with Rose being told in just a few weeks her trial will begin, a trial that will probably lead to her death. However, Rose is lucky that she has friends and family who believe in her innocence and do what they can to keep her safe. This includes statues exploding, car chases, disguises and staying in some interesting places and meeting some very interesting characters. Sydney joins her on her jailbreak mission, the loyal alchemist that is joins the mission because Abe did something for her, Sydney is forced to act against her Alchemists orders, which are turn in Rose, and Dimitri. Dimitri evolves from being afraid of himself and what he did as a Strigoi to grow stronger and to let the darkness go within him.
The book takes you an adventure with Rose, a road trip to keep her safe even though everyone is hunting for a murderess, while still connecting with Lissa, who is back at court trying to find evidence to set Rose free. If you read the other books, you will surely want to see how it ends.
The book is a fitting end to the Rose and Lissa’s adventures, however, the author has promised more books will come that will provide updates on Rose.
